If you think things are a little more difficult than normal these days, you are right. There are lots of reasons for it, but that does not change the fact that things are a little more difficult. A very dear friend told me many many years ago this secret: He said…..if you do 10% more than your competitor you will almost always go 90% further.
This I have found to be so very true. You don’t need to work twice as hard to be twice as effective. Work 10% harder and you will be amazed at what you will accomplish and who you will pass up. Work 10% harder and your income will increase far more than the 10% harder you are working.
What is your plan? What are you doing this week? What are you doing today? What are you doing this afternoon to generate business? If you feel stalled out, remember your competitors are stalled out too. It is easier to outwork and outperform them when they are stalled out. Make December count. Get a lot of things going and you will blast yourself into the new year in a big way. You will see paychecks in January instead of March if you wait till January to really get hustling again.
There is going to be about the same number of units sold next year in California that were sold this year. Don’t you get trapped with just doing the same. You need to work harder and get more units away from your competitors. The time to start is now, when they are not thinking about competition. Get sharp. Get dressed up. Get out in the field. Look the part, talk the part, bring value to everyone you talk with.
Remember this: Clients in our market area need a professional Realtor more today than at any time over the last 50 years. They need you. Go serve them!!!!
