As many of you know, I made the decision several years ago to give up my office and go completely mobile and I couldn’t be happier!  While it was strange at first to not have a set place to go every morning, I’ve found that I am focused on going where I can make the most impact on the business vs going to sit in an office all day.  I’m out and about and make sure that my schedule is full with productive activities to move the business forward each and every day.  As a Realtor, your time physically in the office should be minimal and your time should be spent in the field with your clients or working to get more clients.  The distractions in the traditional office are immense and going mobile can increase your productivity leading to significant growth in your business.  Below is a video of my mobile office and then links to the equipment I use if your interested in taking the mobile leap or just becoming more efficient when you are out of the office.

Best and must have Dash Cam with lane departure and collision warning features. Easy to install, small and reliable.  If you’re on the road a lot and using your car for business then this is a must have for both safety and liability reasons.  It records both video, audio, speed, location, and can be easily turned around to video passengers if you want or need to.  It will record every moment of your day and you can hit one button to save clips of events you encounter or pictures.  I wouldn’t drive anywhere without one of these on my car now days.

Duracell 175 power inverter.  I use this to keep my printer always charging and continuously powered.  This allows you to have 120v household type power outlets to charge your laptop, camera batteries, drone, or other devices while your on the road.  It also has several standard USB plugs.

Car or SUV trunk organizer.  I have two of these in my car to keep all of my equipment organized and easily accessible.  They also fold up when not in use.  These make it easy to remove everything from your car when needed like when you switch cars or need to put your car in the shop and don’t want to leave everything in the car, or if you want to simply transfer to your loaner car and not miss a beat.   Get two, you’ll be glad you did!
